Jack Day works with a Hong Kong-based investment advisory firm specializing in advising emerging growth companies in Greater China on global capital markets as well as advising global investment funds such as hedge funds, private equity and venture capital firms on investing in Greater China. Jack is also Chairman & CEO of an asset management company specializing in natural resources, energy, telecom and real estate investments around the world. Prior to his current roles, Jack had spent over a decade in US high-tech industry in various management positions involving product globalization and internationalization efforts with technology start-ups and multinationals such as Dragon Systems, a market leader in speech recognition software, and Polaroid Corp. once a global leader in digital and analog imaging market, in the areas of global technology marketing, product development, project management and contract manufacturing services. Jack is also an accomplished angel investor having funded several venture start-ups in China and US over the past decade. He currently acts as an advisor or board member of numerous private companies and investment funds in China and the US. Jack is a graduate of Dalian Fisheries College in China and studied management and finance programs at Harvard University. Jack is fluent in English and Chinese and has working knowledge of Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese.
