Robert S. Warner, Senior Vice-President of Capital Markets at Merrimac Corporate Securities, Inc. has agreed to serve as Miller Gold's FINRA registered investment banker for our clients who require this level of service. Mr. Warner has been a fully licensed investment services professional since 1987. Prior to taking on management of Merrimac's early-stage investment banking practice in 2010, Mr. Warner had served as Director of Investment Banking for Mission Securities, Inc. since 2003. From 2000 to 2003 Mr. Warner was an angel investor himself and also managed the due diligence function for the angel group Bay Angels, LLC of Sausalito, California. During this same period, Mr. Warner also served as CFO of American Card Services, Inc., which he helped to take public in 2003; and as President of Telecommunications Holdings, LLC, which was sold to MCI in 2001. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Warner was a Senior Partner at Cagan Capital, LLC, an early-stage venture capital company, where he helped to conceptualize, build, fund and manage the company's first two venture capital funds. Mr. Warner received his early training as an American Express Financial Advisor and also served as a Financial Advisor for Prudential Securities, Inc. from 1991 to 1996. Mr. Warner earned his BA 'cum laude' at Sonoma State University of California as well as an MA in International Political Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
